MESSAGE FROM THE COORDINATOR

Through this message I would like to address the prospective candidates seeking entry to higher education, their parents, teachers and others who may advise the candidates in the choice of a college for studies would certainly be a wise decision that you will always cherish. At Scholars College of Sciences & IT Muzaffarabad we deliver curriculum that prepares our graduates for numerous professions giving them highly employable knowledge and skills as well as opening up opportunities for them to pursue further education. In addition to having great focus on university curriculum, we also strive to inculcate an urge in our students for continuous learning, the ability to lead a life that is personally rewarding, socially meaningful and holistically successful. For this, we strive to provide our students many opportunities to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which help them to develop well-groomed personalities. In addition to giving our students high quality subject knowledge, we put great emphasis on development of the techniques and skills that can help our graduates become highly effective in the society. We also strive to train the students in their ethical grooming as it is the neglected area of life in these days.

Scholars College of Sciences and IT Muzaffarabad is famous for its education department as the institute is running its B.Ed. and M. Ed programs since 2007. B.Ed. Hons is a 4 Years Program comprises of 08 Semesters, B.Ed. 1.5 Year Program comprises of 03 semesters were launched in the institution in 2019 and B.Ed. 2.5 Year Program was launched in 2020. Currently, three sessions of B.Ed. Hons.2019-23, 2020-24 and 2021-25 are running, two sessions of B.Ed. 1.5 session 2019-21 and 2020-22 have completed their degree and two sessions of B.Ed. 2.5 2020-23 & 2021-24 are running in institution. Both elementary and secondary types of groups are offered. The institute is also offering M.Ed 1 Year Program since 2010.The students learn all the Scheme of Studies as designed and applied by Department of Education, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The most important thing regarding the department of education is that the institution’s accredited from the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE).

Objectives:

After completion of the B.Ed. Hons., the learners will be able to:
