MESSAGE FROM THE COORDINATOR

BS CS is a 4 Years Program comprises of 08 Semesters launched in the institution in 2021. Currently, session 2021-25 is running. The students learn all the Scheme of Studies as designed and applied by Department of Computer Sciences, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The basic aim of this program is to prepare students with modern skills in the field of Information Technology. It also aims to provide them broad, integrated IT knowledge and skills including programming, computer networking, database management and software development. Moreover, it is designed to equip the students with firm foundations of Information Technology to face the challenges and evolution of Information Technology in organizations.

Scholars College of Sciences and IT Muzaffarabad is famous for its education department as the institute is running its B.Ed. and M. Ed programs since 2007. B.Ed. Hons is a 4 Years Program comprises of 08 Semesters, B.Ed. 1.5 Year Program comprises of 03 semesters were launched in the institution in 2019 and B.Ed. 2.5 Year Program was launched in 2020. Currently, three sessions of B.Ed. Hons.2019-23, 2020-24 and 2021-25 are running, two sessions of B.Ed. 1.5 session 2019-21 and 2020-22 have completed their degree and two sessions of B.Ed. 2.5 2020-23 & 2021-24 are running in institution. Both elementary and secondary types of groups are offered. The institute is also offering M.Ed 1 Year Program since 2010.The students learn all the Scheme of Studies as designed and applied by Department of Education, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The most important thing regarding the department of education is that the institution’s accredited from the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE).

  4. Nurture software development and problem-solving skills, clarity of thought, and creativity.
  5. Build a strong foundation in theoretical concepts in computing and software engineering.
  6. Prepare students for graduate studies, as well as for careers in the industry.
  7. Prepare students for effective oral and technical communication.
  8. Foster a sense of professional and ethical responsibilities
